Out of all the larger Apollo Twin audio interfaces, I recommend the x8p. If you wanted eight inputs like the Apollo x8p though, you’d be better off NOT purchasing four Apollo Twin Xs… I ran the numbers and it would be more affordable (and more efficient) to simply purchase the x8p.

It’s true that Windows users won’t get the full “UAD experience”, but this is the perfect compromise. Even if it’s slightly less expensive, Thunderbolt has many advantages you don’t want to miss.
